E.L. Bidwell wrote his remniscences for publication as columns in The Manchester Herald in the 1920s. Bidwell wrote about growing up in Manchester in the post-Civil, and speaks of the customs and incidents of those times. This 23 minute television program also describes how the newspaper columns were found, and the process of preparing them for publication.
